Medic, Mecklenburg County's Ambulance Agency, will be offering a free CPR Training Class at 153 Taekwondo on November 9th.
CPR Training at 153 Taekwondo – 11/9/2024 @ 2PM
In January 2020, a close relative suffered a major heart attack.
He was home exactly 6 weeks later. Those 6 weeks included 2 weeks of intense physical, speech, and occupational therapy, 2 weeks in recovery, and 2 weeks in cardiac intensive care – only 4 days, of which, was he awake.
None of that would have mattered if his friend wasn’t with him that night and was able to immediately start CPR. This is the inspiration for my black belt project.
CPR Training at 153 Taekwondo
For my black belt project, I have put together a CPR training class at 153 Taekwondo in Cornelius, NC at 2:00-3:00pm on Saturday, November 9th.
The training is provided for FREE by Mecklenburg County’s Emergency Medical Services Agency. The class is available for up to 30 people who are at least 12 years old.
While the class is free, we’ll collect donations for the HeartBright Foundation, an organization that provides education for the community in healthy lifestyles and funding preventive cardiology programs in economically disadvantaged communities.
